Azerbaijan, Baku is nominated to host of 2020 Olympics, National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan Chingiz Huseynzade (NOC) vice president, told Trend.

He said that Baku’s candidacy was officially nominated to the International Olympics Committee (IOC).

Huseynzade said, "In the near future, the IOC will officially announce cities that are nominated for hosting 2020 Summer Olympics".

Madrid, Rome, Tokyo, Istanbul, as with Qatar's capital Doha to host the 2020 Olympic nomination.
